  I foolishly used google maps to find a tax preparer close to where I work and wound up with Mr. Brown. I was told that his rates were comparable to H & R Block's rate sheet from 2003. Upon finishing my taxes, I received an extremely inflated bill. Once I inquired as to why it was so expensive, I was assured and promised that if I were to find a cheaper rate for my tax preparation, he would match it. So I sent the exact invoice of his services provided to two separate CPA's who promptly sent me back quotes at less than half of what I was charged by Mr. Brown. When I showed Mr. Brown the competitor pricing, I was told that he was not obligated to meet their price. Then when I told him that I would be using the internet to warn future customers of his shady practices, I was threatened with both legal action and an unofficial assault on my future career aspirations via the internet. This individual does not deserve to be a practicing business owner in this community.
